I love the form ceramics take when a piece is frozen and preserved and I also adore the fact that it becomes an intimate piece that you can touch and observe its presence. My strongest influences throughout my work are fashion and texture. My work is an exploration of my three passions, fashion, texture and ceramics. I adore texture in every art form, I formed texture to carry the bodies of the prices, achieving a reflection of antique like quality, displaying an inner depth. Resulting in pieces that are intricate and antique like qualities. |
