Relating the word "time" to ceramic processes I remembered a certain phrase entering my mind, when coiling or hand building: "I have got time on my hands". With this working manner I consciously oppose the machine made, mass produced item, creating personal and individual objects.
The clay bodies reflect no distinctive subject matter or influence to allow the viewer his/her own interpretation, making a unique interaction with the ceramic pieces possible. |
