Due to the accumulative nature of time the point of contact exists in three dimensions; expanding, warping and contracting as the space is compressed by the gravity of the body. The compression of one area in turn offsets that in another, thus forcing the space to expand. The ether is redistributed within a malleable bubble, poised to dissipate if the contact is broken.

The image of the body at the point of contact formulates a statement in that the act of touching constitutes the "act of formation" (Foucault; 1972; p.100). The ennunciative domain of the statement is expressed through the artwork as an illustration of invisible space, articulated in a state of permanent flux.
