The 'ontological Figure' is the metaphysical figure that relates to the nature, or essence of being or existence. The landscape or architecture is created by the very 'soul' of the body. The essence of emotion springs from the chest and out into its immediate environment, therefore, emotions create their own metaphysical architecture. I am interrogating a dialogue between the architecture (the metaphysical space) that the body (the ontological figure) portrayed through emotion. This is divided into two architectural strains, one of urban architectural strength and the other from a strong landscape. |
