My work follows an ongoing investigation into the phenomenological interaction between the viewer, the artwork and its surroundings as an ever changing reciprocal conversation. By attempting to change the directional flow of perception the viewer is caught in a constant flux of engagement; responding to tensions that resonate between interior and exterior, volume and space, body and environment. As shadows and contours shift within the forms, the dialogue becomes cycle of communication: a communication that is constantly able to ignite and renew our senses in an increasingly standardised world.
