My enquiry is based on examining the potential of drawing through the ceramic process as a whole and integrated experience. I work to timed and choreographed events where I create a constant dialogue between drawing and ceramic. The outcomes presented are the residues of the performances, each a recording of time, and are mapped out to show my engagement with the experience of how a specific space becomes to be occupied through a set duration of time. 'We are not asked to see, to conceive, to savor the product , but to review, to identify, and, so to speak, to "enjoy" the movement which has ended up here .' (Barthes, 1991, p. 164) |
